Family Vintage

So I postponed this post by one day (sorry!) because I honestly got a little overwhelmed!  I didn't realize how many vintage + antique items were in with my family's storage stuff and even just displayed around my house!  I realized that there is just no possible way to fit it all in one post so I just did a few of the more accessible items.  I'll do clothing in a separate post later on.  Here we go! -^_^-

I'm not really sure how old this phone is but my Grandpa Murphy was a telephone man for 37 years and removed this phone from someone's home when they decided to upgraded to a newer model.  My Mom has had it ever since and I'm so glad she saved it.

My Mom has collected certain kinds of antique dishes over the years and she has a lot of knowledge in that area.  I've fallen in love with these in particular. :)

These are just a couple of the antique pitchers we have in our kitchen, so cute! :)

These last two items are by far my favorites that I know I'll have in my own home someday.  My Grandmother's sewing box and a beautiful antique scale.

Phew, those are just a few of my favorites.  I'll do a post next week on some of my Mom's vintage clothing so watch for that!  Until then I hope everyone is having a lovely Monday! -^_^-
