Comeback Kid

I'm back!!!  Sorry for that unexpected abscence!  So many things have happened since my last post, I hardly know where to begin. :)

My family has been dismantling our storage unit lately (hence why I've had little or no computer time!), we're going through it all to determine what to keep and what to sell, donate or trash.  Ah, nostalgia! Old family pictures, all of our children's books, antique books, plates, dolls (my family has always loved old things).  More about that later this week, but here's a sneak peak!

Among other things that have happened recently, I got a hair cut!  I hadn't even trimmed my hair for 8 months (I know, I'm horrible) so it felt great to get it cut.  This is also the first time since 4th grade that I've had any sort of bang-- yippee! -^_^-

I love these cobalt blue shorts but out of the high-waisted shorts that I own, they are the least comfy to wear.  Even sitting down for ten minuntes creates quite a wrinkle factor for the rest of the day (as you can see!).

Next post I'll show you some of my favorite vintage items that have been passed down through my family or just found along the way.  Also I did a DIY project to breathe life into a couple of old wooden chairs that I'm excited to show you guys!  Have a great week everyone!
