It's been a very eerily spring-like winter in Chicago-land and finally, today we have beautiful snow! When I took these pictures I was sure it would just be short-lived flurries, but I'm happy to say that it's still coming down (and actually accumulating) out there. -^_^- Call me crazy but if it's going to be winter, it might as well snow! It's so cool how the little flakes of snow showed up as white streaks in these photos (look closely and you'll see it)! Today I wore one of my more favorite vintage 50's dresses, it's just so bright and cheery and contains some of my favorite colors. It has also served as an excellent contrast to the now very white scenery around here-- Here's to not blending in!
I love your dress!
ReplyDeleteThe winter has been the same here. Its so weird being in the Midwest without the intense cold that we have come to expect, but it finally snowed today here too. It just doesn't feel right without a layer of snow on the ground in February. :)
Thanks, I completely agree!
