Sick = Window Shopping!

Well, I'm sick. :(


I had planned to do an outfit post today but sick = Window Shopping post instead!  It's been quite awhile since I've done one and what else can I do when I'm sick, right?  Right! :)


Here are some things I've seen around the web lately that I love!


Oh this mint, eyelet 50's inspired blouse is so pretty (not to mention versatile)!  Perhaps a future summer staple?  I think so!

I've been searching for a second pair of sunglasses (I always leave mine in my car), preferably inexpensive and versatile but still fun-- I'm pretty sure these cat eye pretties are exactly what I've been searching for!

These earrings are beautiful, unique and nostalgic for me-- as a child, my brother and I always found cicada shells on a tree in my grandfather's backyard.  Even now, I find them to be fascinating creatures (and awesome accessories apparently)!

If I didn't love coral enough before, this cotton, watermelon hued dress has convinced me even more!  Such a simple but pretty summer frock, and at a solid price too!

Anyone who knows me well, knows that I'm deeply in love with storms.  I guess some people think they are gloomy, what's up with that?!  The thought of these rain-cloud decals above my bed or reading chair is so cozy to me! -^_^-

Summer Garden & Saturday Window Shop!

I love when the weather forecast calls for rain and it's sunny all day instead!  This week has felt so summery and wonderful around here. -^_^-  My Mom and I have most of our planting done but did it a little differently than in years past.  To avoid the deer munching all of our plants, we have a "potted garden" all set up on our deck instead of using our big garden.  I was a little sad to not plant in the big garden at first, but the potted garden is so cute!  We've planted veggies, herbs and even some hops because my brother brews his own beer.  Ah, gardens are lovely!

 

On to window shopping (something I perhaps do too much), check out these beauties!

If I had a wedding to attend this summer, I'd wear this dress in a heartbeat!  The colors and bodice are just so cute!

This bag is absolutely gorgeous but I must apologize for it's price! Le sigh.

Window Shop!

This has been a two-post blogging week but it's for a valid reason.  My Dad is in from out of town so it's been really fun to hang out with him, even if it means less blog time (and watching lots of sports).  Family first! -^_^-


It's Saturday, which means it's Window Shopping time!  I have absolutely been doing my share of that this week (mostly the virtual kind of course), so here are some of my favorites this week.


I love Homako on Etsy, she makes such pretty and whimsical things!  I have one necklace from her shop and am eying this one as my next purchase!

I also love this dress from Ruche, such a pretty, golden yellow-- perfect for summer!

 

I love Seychelles shoes, so when I saw these adorable wedges I flipped! I love the toe detail and the shoe shape is just so dainty!

Since Father's Day is coming up, I figured I'd include a gift idea!  Last year for Father's day I got my day these custom map cufflink from Tomatomade on Etsy.  You can choose anywhere in the world for the location, somewhere that's special to your Dad! -^_^-

Saturdays-- Window Shop!

Now that I've accomplished my first week of blogging (Yay!), I've been brainstorming new kinds of posts to mix in with my outfit entries.  Though I have many pending ideas, I'm going to start off by proclaiming Saturday as my Window Shopping day!  Every Saturday I'll post some online finds that I'm crushing on from some of my favorite online stores!  Well, let's give it a go! -^_^- {note: every picture and highlighted word links to the item's source!}

I'm absolutely swooning over this cotton dress, talk about adorable (but kind of pricey)!  Le sigh.

This Kimchi Blue bag in ivory would make a splendid spring + summer accessory. :)

I'm seriously thinking about buying this backpack for my pup Chico this summer (disclaimer: this pup is not Chico, he's the model dog at the Etsy shop who sells the backpack!  I'll introduce you guys to Chico soon! -^_^-)
